Christmas Plans
I’m still not sure what we’re going to do for christmas. My parents will be in Oregon this year, but it doesn’t look like we’ll be able to make it down there. My friend Tara is coming home for christmas, so we might spend some time at her place. But I would love a christmas alone with Roch. We’ve shared christmas with his family every year since we’ve been married. I would like to start our own personal holiday traditions. Although I can’t think of any.
Missoula put on the Macy’s parade of lights last week. That was so fun. They had a tree lighting ceremony and santa came rolling down the street in a carriage. It was cold. C’est la vie in the rocky mountains.
What are some of your christmas traditions? Yule logs? Caroling?

You can stick your yule log up your ass but I do love caroling…really. And every year we sing a Christmas Cantata at church. My family goes to church every Christmas morning then we go have a big lunch. Good times. That church has a bell choir too and they rock!
If you would like to start a Christmas tradition for you and Roch, one sugestion is, Dan and I are finding out about families in need through other friends and giving cash anomously. It is very rewarding. We have been so blessed that it is nice to give back.
