I’m going to enter in my first foot race on October 3rd. Missoula hosts an all-women’s 5K each year and this will be the first year that I think I can run the whole race without stopping for a break. Whoo hooo!

They’ll give prizes for the best dressed selected by crowd applause. A couple of my friends might also join the race so we can have a theme-team. Here are some of my initial thoughts…

* Star Fleet Officers
* Fifties Housewives (I have all the square dance outfits already)
* Super Heroes (Lara Croft, Wonder Woman, Super Girl)
* Twenties-Era Flappers

Hogwarts would be my first choice too! But… hardly anyone seems to be into it. Super heroes sounds about right. I update later with some photos of the race next month.
