Good Foods Are Not So Good

Lately, we’ve been shopping at the “Good Foods Store.” Organic meat and produce, whole grains - blah blah. I don’t want to eat pesticides or radiated meat, but my gosh! The food is so expensive without the bad stuff!

For two weeks we paid a little more and ate a little less. Some of the food tasted better - like the canned soup and bread. Yummy. The milk was horrific. The produce was rotten the next day (really). The service was friendly, I’ll give them that.

I’m sorry, but I’m a super walmart shopper. I can’t help it. They just have what I need at an unbeatable price. Hopefully I don’t get alzheimer’s for eating cheap.

Tell me about it. You know, for those of us on tight budgets, you could limit your organic shopping to just a few items that are usually doused with chemicals in regular stores. Such things include berries, apples and lettuce. But for sure give ALL produce items a thorough rinse and hopefully you’ll come out without alzheimer’s.
