Caution! Shenanigans Below! Post Update: As Shane pointed out to me… When In Rome sings this song - NOT Depeche Mode… *zoinks* !!

I just found out that one of my all-time favorites songs is by one of my favorite bands! How did I not know who sang this song for so many years?

I Promise You I Will - by none other than Depeche Mode! So crazy! My favorite part is the piano. It’s so beautiful. And the techno beat is so smooth in the background. I’m so excited about this news to me!

    Uhm… Hate to break it to you, but that song is most definitely NOT by Depeche Mode (also one of my favourite bands). It is called “The Promise” by a band named When In Rome.

    No shit? I also thought that U2 sang Friday I’m In Love. You straightened me out on that one too. Hhhhm…

    I’m surprised to find out that YouTube and LimeWire have bunk information. :)

    Well… on to finding some more awesome music by When In Rome! And I’d better update this original post to clear up these shenanigans. Thanks Shane!
