Movie Review: The Happening

This is M. Night Shyamalan’s newest production. Of course… you know me… I’m a huge fan and I never miss his movies.

This movie is about something weird happening to people in the northeast starting in New York. People become disoriented then kill themselves.

This movie sucked. I didn’t care much for the global warming political push. The plot was boring, the acting sucked… we just about walked out of the theater.

Plus, everyone in the theater was talking! It was crazy. The people next to us were having a normal-volume conversation during the entire movie. The group of dorks behind us laughed at every scene – so, I couldn’t be sad or scared at the sad or scary parts.

Then – the most annoying part – the microphone that picks up the actor’s voices in the movie was visible in tons of scenes! What the hell?

I give this movie a “don’t bother.”

Wow. Thanks for the review. I really like his movies too. I can’t believe you could see the microphones. Damn it, I really wanted it to be good too. p.s. I hate movie theaters ;)
