We purchased a bottle of tequila for the New Year’s occasion. To sip. Just a few short drinks. Missy had her own “mixed drink” that she used as the reason for drinking a fraction of the shots she poured me. And I couldn’t pour the tequila back in the bottle from my dirty glass. What could I do? My hands were tied.
So, I “tied one on”. I had a good buzz and Tara made me dance. She has this awesome CD with boogie oogie oogie and car wash. I show off my sweet dance moves when funk hits from the ’90s start playing.
Everyone wants to get Roch drunk. And every time he explains that he doesn’t get drunk. Not because he’s against it or anything, but because he physically cannot make it happen. He’ll out-drink anyone around, but his mannerism never changes. Boring. Yet, everyone “wants to see him drunk”. That’s weird.
Which reminds me of my friend Geoff getting drunk and yelling Bonzai (he’s half Japanese - I guess it was funny at the time).

hmm, I think his social behavior has changed since I first met him. He was confident with his work but not as much with people as he is now. So when we first started hanging out he was more shy. Then he landed the hottest chick in the world and what a huge ego boost that is. So he was more outgoing in general I would say, drinking or not. What’s your take?
I guess both of us just know him so well. His new friends are expecting him to dance like a fool and go streaking down the street. But he always keeps his composure. It’s hard to think of a “shy Roch!” Ha ha! My gosh, no one would characterize him that way now. His wife is hot.
