Potting Weeds

I want to have some plants and flowers in my yard but I also like not worrying about the deer eating my plants. Plus… what if I forget to water it or put it in a place that doesn’t get enough sun? What’s a girl to do?

Well, I pulled some random flowering weed from someplace on my property and potted it into a big planter. I uprooted it yesterday and it drooped all day. I thought it was going to die then Roch told me it perked up today! Yay!

Now I don’t need to do anything to it to keep it alive. It can live off the natural rain and sun. I assume that the deer don’t want to eat this one because it’s still growing out of the ground. Maybe they won’t eat it out of my planter pot either?

It’s kind of pretty for a weed isn’t it? I’m going to name it droopsie.

Yeah – it’s still thriving. I found some more of the this plant near the creek. I brought a “weed expert” up to the house to look at it and he says it’s a native flower.
