Religious Protest on Campus
This week is gay pride week. With that, people from “the church” come to campus with loud speakers and bibles to teach us what we must not know.
I find this protest frustrating. For one thing, I’m trying to study (believe it or not) and these noisy shenanigans disturb me. I don’t know if I agree with a school being a place for protest. Obviously, I must be in the minority on that point of view.
Second, I don’t understand how people can pick and choose the “religious laws” they defend. Why isn’t there a huge protest against divorce? Isn’t that a sin? What about premarital sex? I’m pretty sure most people on campus are having sex out of wedlock.
Do they protest homosexuality because it’s the only “law” they haven’t broken? These people are doing a disservice to their religion. They turn me away by choosing convenient passages from the bible to fulfill their agenda. How can I have faith in their message?

Jolly good show!
You misspelled shenanigans.
Oh yes! I tried looking up shenanigans for the proper spelling but I couldn’t find it. I’ll remember it now because it starts with Shenan. He’s my favorite character from Jimmy Neutron. Although, I don’t know if that’s how his name is spelled either.
