Get more functionality with iPhone Bookmarklets

This information is really for the iPod Touch which is the same thing as the iPhone just without the phone.

A Bookmarklet is a tiny bit of Javascript stored as a bookmark that adds extra functionality to your browser. For example, the browser on my iPod doesn’t have a “find text” option. Now I use a bookmarklet to get that feature.

I usually like to write original blog posts without a ton of linking to other websites that already talk about what I’m talking about. But… this is cool and useful for iPhone/iPod Touch users. So, here goes.
