I added the Farmville app on Facebook last month to see what all the hubbub was about and it’s actually fun! Naturally, I decided to create an Excel spreadsheet to track harvest times. Yes, I’m a nerd. So what?
The spreadsheet displays experience points, cost, profit, harvest-time, etc. But it also calculates the time that you need to go back to harvest your crops. Just edit the cells in the yellow column with the date/time you planted – or type this =now() to calculate the time right now.
You can also sort the data by your preference. Right now I have the spreadsheet sorted by whether or not I’ve earned the seeds, then by harvest-time. Go to Data > Sort – then sort by up to three column headers.
