Silly, empty utterances from Jenn who knows nothing about a subject but writes about it anyway.

Sirius channel 2 (I think it’s love songs or something) played a song I hadn’t heard since I was a kid! It totally brought me back to sitting in the backseat of our car, driving someplace that took too long to get to. Ha ha!
I loved that song, so I looked up Air Supply on Google Music and found out that they totally rocked a bunch of songs that I like!
Here is a list of my favorites that I promptly downloaded from iTunes:
- (here I am) The One That You Love
- Lost In Love (and I don’t know much)
- Here I Am (just when I thought I was over you)
- All Out Of Love (I’m so lost without you)
- Even The Nights Are Better
- Making Love Out of Nothing at All
- Two Less Lonely People (in the world)
- Every Woman in the World (to me)

School is out until April 7th - whoop whoop! I can’t believe how much stress I feel over school. I feel physically sick. But when clients breathe down my neck, or I get audited, or a job falls through… not worries at all! Weird.
I’m still working two weekdays at the coffee shop. And wow. Now I see why the owners have such a high turnover of employees! It’s ssssoooooo boring without any homework to do!
I decided to just enjoy the time to myself… to think. I spaced out for a couple of hours actually. I debated whether or not I would mind becoming a vampire. If I could be like the vampires in Stephenie Meyer’s novel, I think it might be cool. But if I could never bask in the sunlight - it would suck. I’m still on the fence about the whole idea.
Then I fantasized about being able to fly. That would be awesome. And wouldn’t it be cool if I owned a real-life light saber! Heck yes, it would.
Then I noticed my eyelids starting to droop. I play the classical station at work because it helps my study. Usually it’s symphony hall or sirius pops. I wished that the radio wasn’t so far away so I could switch to some death metal.
I started to feel real relaxed… wishing I could just curl up and nap - just for a few minutes. What the hell? Why was I so tired? I’m not usually this tired, even with the classical music playing. Then the music became clear… it was a classical version of rock-a-bye-baby! Can you believe it? ha ha
So, I promptly visited the library after work to check out a new book to read. I chose Maximum Ride by James Patterson. It’s not as good as Meyer’s novels (a little young for me) but it keeps my interest and consciousness.

Caution! Shenanigans Below! Post Update: As Shane pointed out to me… When In Rome sings this song - NOT Depeche Mode… *zoinks* !!
I just found out that one of my all-time favorites songs is by one of my favorite bands! How did I not know who sang this song for so many years?
I Promise You I Will - by none other than Depeche Mode! So crazy! My favorite part is the piano. It’s so beautiful. And the techno beat is so smooth in the background. I’m so excited about this news to me!
Below is a YouTube video with the song in case you don’t know what I’m talking about.

I heard a song on the radio thanks to Sirius’ Super-Shuffle. The shuffle randomly picks a song from all the music channels. It’s great! I rocked out to Boyz 2 Men’s Mowtownphilly and Micheal Jackson’s Thriller. I also have a new love of Def Leppard thanks to the movie Balls of Fury.
I heard a beautiful song from Gladys Knight called Midnight Train to Georgia. She says that he’s catching a train to Georgia because he wants to go to a simpler place and time. And she has to be on that midnight train because…. “I’d rather live in his world - than live without him in mine.” It’s so sweet! It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.
But here is the real purpose of this post. I heard this song called “Signs” the other day on the radio. It’s just ridiculous. When I looked up the lyrics to create this post, I found someone else who already wrote a nice review of the song.
Retarded hippies! I just about had enough of their “let’s share (even though I have nothing to offer)” attitude. Historically… equality (communism) doesn’t work. People need incentive to work hard! And sharing everything they work so hard for with stinky, misinformed, lazy drug-addicts is not it.

Dépêche-toi means “hurry”. Literally Hurry-you, but in English, the you is implied. The verb “dépêcher” means to hurry or to dispatch.
I guess I could look up why Depeche Mode chose their name. I think they were in hurry-mode. They had to hurry up and choose a band name.
