Silly, empty utterances from Jenn who knows nothing about a subject but writes about it anyway.

I know that my mom and my sister know where this phrase came from. A television series in the late eighties… Sledge Hammer!
I’ve talked a few times about Sledge Hammer with people and they think I’m crazy. Yes, this show existed, the guy talked to his gun and slept with it under his pillow. (I mean piece - not gun for you full-metal-jacket fans).
The show is REAL - Roch… look for yourself!

And guess what? It’s on my Netflix list!
Coming to a TV near me.

When are you online?
It depends. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are no good because I’m at work. Weekends are usually good, but only if Roch goes hunting. Monday is good because I spend the whole time in the office working on taxes, payroll and invoicing. Mornings are no good because I work out. Nights are no good. So, to summarize… I’m probably online during these times:
* Mid-day on weekdays (10am-3pm) excluding T & W
How do I get a picture of myself for comments?
That picture is called a Gravatar (or Avatar). The Daily Twaddle uses your email address to associate your unique icon with your comment. You’ll need an account with Gravatar.com which will allow you to use any image on your computer. Get started by leaving a comment below and checking the box that says “Sign me up for a free Gravatar!”
Where can I see more pictures of your events?
I’ve started using Google’s Picasa Web Albums to upload my personal pictures. I will include a link with each new post that has pictures associated with it. For now, the only album I have online is my Halloween 2007.
What’s new with you?
I went to a clogging class last night. I’m not sure if I like it or not. I’m in the middle of my first quarter of online school (with an A average so far). My dogs are shedding since they’re inside dogs they shed in the winter. I started up step-aerobics again. Roch started coaching his nephew’s basketball team. Right now I’m drinking a delicious chai tea sample that my boss gave me. It’s called cha cha chai - funny huh?

My sister has been highly entertaining since I’ve been visiting. Her baby is the cutest baby ever. Really. They’re watching a scary movie so I can’t stay on the computer too long. I don’t like scary movies. I’ll have to go do something else. The Messenger.
I met up with my old friend Gabby. She’s going to take some pictures of me (she’s a photographer). Cool right? I made biscuits and gravy for my parents yesterday.
That’s all I have to say about that.

Okay, I’ve been at my parents place since Sunday. So, I’ll spend about a week and half with them. I’m missing my husband. And my dogs. And it’s rainy here. And there is no DSL or wireless at my mom’s house, only dial-up. But I don’t have an external modem. Boo hoo, poor Jenn.
But, my mom just bought a couple of the Harry Potter movies and we’re having a marathon. That’s fun.
I can’t wait to see my sister.

I just turned in my final English paper! It’s such a relief. I can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’ve got a week and a half until my final English portfolio is due. I’ll make some major revisions to each of my papers for that.
French exams are over. Hurray! We have one quiz tomorrow and then the final on May 9th. Oh… happy day. I’m feeling such relief.
We’re moving out of our apartment about three days after our last final exam. We’ll be packing like crazy! Living in a fifth wheel will be hard. I’ll miss my big giant couch. But I sure won’t miss the rent payment!
The summer is going to be awesome. I look forward to relaxing and enjoying the sun. I miss putting my feet in the sand.

You probably don’t know Missy. That’s fine because the point of my post isn’t really about Missy. It’s about her turning 21.
She makes me feel old. A wise square dancing friend told me that I’ll spend my days going to parties for friends who turn 18 and 21. Then I’ll go to all their weddings. Then I’ll go to their baby showers. And last, I’ll go to their funeral.
So, based on which kind of gathering I’m at… I can tell what stage of life I’m in. So, even though I’m at the age where I should be going to baby showers, I’m actually spending my time partying with fresh 21-year olds. That makes me young.
I should stay in college forever. Then I’ll be forever 21.
