My postal service company (kind of like the UPS-Store mailboxes) just up and went out of business one day. The place where all of our mail has been going to for 5 years has shut down. I showed up to pick up my mail and there was a sign on the door “deeply regret… illness… blah blah.” Really? You’re SO sorry? You couldn’t have been sorry two weeks ago? Surely you knew at least two days ago that you were going to close up shop. I would have made arrangements had I known.
So, I need to quickly update my address with everyone I’ve ever done business with. I planned on just keeping my old postal service address when I moved out of my apartment to avoid the headache of address changes. So much for that.
This Sunday, I’m taking a flight to Oregon where my mom lives so I can ride down to California with her. I’ll stay at her place for a week. Then I’ll hang out at my old house in California with my pregnant sister. She should be popping out the little fellow at the end of this month.
Roch will drive down around the 28th to pick up our new fifth wheel. He’ll stay in Cali just under a week. Then I’ll stay for an extra week to help out with my new nephew. Then I’ll take a flight to Salt Lake City where Roch will pick me up. We’ll drive to Wyoming where Roch will be finishing up a project (maybe a month). And then? Maybe back to the Bitterroot, Montana. Maybe not.
We’ll live in the 5th wheel for the whole summer. So, deciding what to put in storage and what to keep is kind of tricky. Also, I’m going to take my iMac as a carry-on when I fly to Oregon. It’s a must-have!
