I’m addicted! If you haven’t heard about Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight Series… well – you’re simply missing out on a great novel. The first of the series will be made into a major motion picture in theaters this December. It will be another Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings.
And I’m not just partial to vampires because of the Lost Boys. In fact, Stephanie’s idea of a vampire (no fangs, no coffins) is much more intriguing than any other version I’ve seen. Of course… something unusual happens when her vampires go into the sun… you’ll have to read the novel to find out, but they don’t turn to ash.
I wrote this post especially for my mom who appreciates fantasy novels as much as I do. And come on!!! They’re making a movie that’s going to be a blockbuster! It must be a good book!
The fourth and final book of the series will be released on August 1st (midnight on the second). Barns & Noble will host a Vampire Prom in celebration of the book’s release to keep us occupied until midnight when we can finally get our copies. I added a countdown to my sidebar too.
